With its sub-tropical temperatures, Axarquia is well known for its fantastic weather which is one of the best in Europe. Hot summers and mild winters are enjoyed year in year out and the huge mountains provide a barrier from the cold north winds during winter. The mountains and white washed villages as well as the 50 kilometres of coastline make the scenery breathtaking and if that isn't enough then there is also lush tropical river valleys with orange and lemon groves, eucalyptus, avocado, banana, kiwi, chirimoya and mango trees.
Property in Axarquia is very reasonably priced and like most areas of the Costa del Sol you have a wide choice of villas and apartments as well as a fantastic array of rustic fincas and with Malaga airport very close by this area is becoming more and more popular. |
