Dubai is one of the seven emirates that constitute the United Arab Emirates and is situated on the north east coast bordering Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Sultanate of Oman. It can be found directly within the Arabian Desert where the sand consists mostly of crushed shell and coral and is fine, clean and white. It has its own international airport which also services the other emirates and the local infrastructure is growing daily.
In 2002 the Prince of Dubai allowed foreigners to buy freehold property in Dubai and since then the real estate market has boomed. Innovative projects have brought world wide attention to the property markets like the famous Palm Island and further ground breaking developments are planned. |
