Almoradi

Almoradi, with its picture postcard plaza and famous Saturday market, is also growing fast, thanks to its prime location with easy access from the motorway. As Elche produces half of Spain’s footwear, so this gem of a town specializes in furniture - and being the base for quite a few property magnates. Almoradi is a typical Spanish village. It has some amazing tapas bars and gorgeous bars and restaurants. Very close to the coast with all the activities and services of a small town with traditions and the Mediterranean flair. Only 12km from the tourist beaches of Torrevieja and Guardamar del Segura. Surrounded by first class institutions and trading centers as well as several golf courses. These courses include La Finca 18 hole golf course (72 par) and Ramblas de Orihuela 18 hole course (72 par).  Back To Top

GuardamardelSegura

Guardamar is a popular resort with impressive beaches and open spaces. A stunning landscape of sand dunes contributes to making it a very desirable tourist destination. The town is situated in the area that has yielded the remains of Phoenician and Iberian settlements. The river Segura divides the area into two zones. The municipality had to be completely rebuilt from nothing, after being destroyed by an earthquake. Today it presents a dozen kilometers of beach covered with sand dunes and fringed by pine, eucalyptus and palm trees. If you like sports Guardamar offers you every possible sea sport such as sailing, wind surfing, water skiing, scuba-diving, canoeing, jet skiing, etc. The Marina de las Dunas at the mouth of the river offers all these as well as 498 moorings. Guardamar del Segura has extensive sports facilities, the most important being 'Las Rabosas' Sports center and the magnificent municipal sports center, with it’s Olympic swimming pool, football pitches, basketball courts, five a side soccer pitches, and tennis courts.   Back To Top

LaZenia

La Zenia is part of the region of Orihuela. Here was the Episcopal seat of the province of Alicante for almost four centuries and its civic traditions and artistic heritage are stamped by this major religious influence. Orihuela possesses five national monuments. Orihuela's extensive district stretches to the Mediterranean where there are magnificent sandy beaches with a range of services, including Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor beaches. Campoamor and Cabo Roig offer two marinas suitable for leisure pursuits.  Back To Top

SantaPola

Santa Pola is a tourist municipality with the most important fishing fleet in the Spanish Mediterranean. The first settlers there inhabited the 'Cueva de las Aranas' (the cave of spiders) in the third and fourth Millennium BC, and in the first century AD. With the arrival of the Romans, the area became known as “Portus Illcitanus” developing into one of the key ports for maritime commerce.   Back To Top

Torrevieja

Amongst lagoons, on a great plain, Torrevieja is ideally situated, a destination of great importance. The coastline of Torrevieja is full of sandy spots inserted in between the cliffs and the coves. The numerous beaches give this wonderful area a Mediterranean style, which together with the exceptional climate turn Torrevieja into a nature paradise. The local microclimate is a particularly healthy one and has been recommended by medical specialists the world over. The area boasts some splendid beaches, with which it has developed its tourist capacity in combination with its seafaring and salt-making tradition. Today its one of the main European producers of salt. Torrevieja also offers lively entertainment, like the famous Cuban dances and its international contest, which celebrates the 'Torrevejeneses' that traded with Cuba colony from which they brought these melodies. Among the opportunities for recreation, the town has easy access to some of the best golf courses around. Villamartin (hosted the 1994 Mediterranean Open), Las Ramblas, Quesada, Campoamor & the newly built La Finca golf course are all less than a 15-minute drive away. Further a field is the renowned La Manga Golf Club. A multitude of Tennis clubs, a flying club, a municipal football stadium, bullring, Water Park, fairground, theatre and several cinemas.   Back To Top
